Tanja Seiner is a freelance designer and curator. After receiving her diploma in product design from the Karlsruhe University of Arts and Design, she worked in the studio Jerszy Seymour Berlin (2007-2010) where she designed consumer goods and furniture as well as spatial productions and exhibitions. and was assistant curator at Lothringer13 Halle in Munich (2014—17). She expanded and intensified her interest in the medium exhibition in the context of her curatorial assistance at Lothringer13 Halle in Munich (2014–17). Among the exhibitions she has curated are Pet Market (erstererster, Berlin, 2015) and Touch deeper (Lothringer13 Halle, Munich, 2016). Currently Tanja is conceiving the show Made to Measure Creatures – Animals and Contemporary Design, which will open in September 2018 at the Museum Marta Herford and which will – like her previous curatorial projects – bring together current and future living environments from contemporary design, art and science and critically reflect upon them. Between 2010 and 2015 Tanja taught at the product design department of Kunsthochschule Kassel.
