 **A conversation with members of the Artistic Team of documenta fifteen, moderated by Stephanie Weber**

  

 [ruangrupa](https://ruangrupa.id/en/), a collective from Jakarta, is the Artistic Director of [documenta fifteen](https://documenta-fifteen.de/), which will take place from 18 June until 25 September 2022 in Kassel. Artistic Team members Reza Afisina, Iswanto Hartono, and Ayşe Güleç will talk about the practice of *lumbung*, which is the Indonesian word for a rice barn and a common practice for sharing surplus resources. This will lead us to examine how *lumbung* relates to documenta fifteen.

 *The conversation will be held in English.

  

 This conversation is part of the project “Scalability of the Collective”, a collaboration between students from the Academy of Fine Arts Munich and the [Lebanese Academy of Fine Arts – University of Balamand in Beirut](https://www.alba.edu.lb/french/Accueil) under the direction of Joseph Rustom and Sandra Schäfer. Students from the [“Scalability of the Collective”](https://klasseschaefer.com/Projects_5_documenta-fifteen-2022)project will participate in a workshop on composting knowledge with Ayşe Güleç and ruangrupa on the following day.
