Kontextuelle Praxis

 Klassenübergreifendes Programm

  

 Die Kontextuelle Praxis ist im Studiengang der Freien Kunst angesiedelt. Sie ist als Schnittstelle zwischen der praktischen Umsetzung künstlerischer Prozesse und der theo­retischen Reflexion konzipiert. Ein Schwerpunkt der kontextuellen Praxis ist die Beschäftigung mit und die Vermittlung von Begrifflichkeiten und Erkenntnissen der künstlerischen Forschung für Studierende der Freien Kunst (Klassen für Aktuelle digitale Medien, Bildhauerei, Bühnenbild und -kostüm, Fotografie, Malerei und Grafik, Medienkunst, Performance, Schmuck und Gerät) sowie die klassenübergreifende Betreuung von individuellen Projekten. Im Rahmen des Programms werden interdisziplinäre Diskurse mit Schwerpunkt auf kritischem Materialismus und deren ethisch-politischen Implikationen untersucht. Gemeinsam wird erarbeitet, wie praxisbasierte Forschung Fragen der materiellen Verflechtung, der ökologischen Nachhaltigkeit und der sozialen Gerechtigkeit beeinflussen und darauf reagieren kann.
