Katja Knaus studied Architecture & Design at the Academy of Fine Arts in Stuttgart and in Barcelona as a Student of Enric Miralles. From 2000 to 2010 she was working for Behnisch Architekten on competitions such as the new development of the Oceanographic Museum in Stralsund and Project managements for the so called Haus im Haus of the Chamber of Commerce Hamburg and the Marco Polo Tower in Hamburg. In 2011 she founded Yonder – Architektur und Design with Benedikt Bosch. Katja is a Professor of Architectural Design and holds a chair at the Academy of Art and Design in Munich. She previously taught at the Stuttgart State Academy of Art and Design, at the School of Architecture Bremen and at the University of Stuttgart. Katja is a member of the Bund Deutscher Architekten (BDA).
