 Academic background in the Near and Middle Eastern Studies with a focus on Arabic and Islamic Studies, Philosophy and History of Art at the Ludwig-Maximilians-University Munich. Main Research Focus on modern and contemporary Art, Art Theory and Aesthetics.

 Dissertation Thesis:

 "Artistic Historiographies of Portugal from the end of the dictatorship to the present. The Ocean as motif, metaphor and figure of thought" (working title).
