"Sorry Mom" is a project by Simona Andrioletti and Riccardo Rudi, both students of Olaf Nicolai.

The work starts with some reflections on two poems dedicated to mothers: “The ballad of mothers” and “Plea to my mother” by Pier Paolo Pasolini and is contained in the poetry collection “Poetry in the form of a Rose” published in 1964 by publishing house Garzanti.

The poem “The ballad of mothers” opens with the verse: 'I wonder which mothers you have had'. With this line, Pasolini humanizes the figure of the aggressor and he makes us reflect on the fact that the aggressor, too, has been a victim and, they know the pain that comes with being a victim.

Starting from this concept of a chain of violence which aims to open up questions about this topic, the exhibition is articulated by different elements placed in the space and collaborations with the rapper Noah “Rilla” Kretschmann and the musician Luca Napoli.

Die Arbeit beginnt mit einigen Überlegungen zu zwei Gedichten, die Müttern gewidmet sind: "Die Ballade der Mütter" und "Bitte an meine Mutter" von Pier Paolo Pasolini, die in der Gedichtsammlung "Dichtung in Form einer Rose" enthalten sind, die 1964 vom Verlag Garzanti veröffentlicht wurde.

Das Gedicht "Die Ballade der Mütter" beginnt mit dem Vers: Ich frage mich, welche Mütter du gehabt hast". Mit dieser Zeile vermenschlicht Pasolini die Figur der Angreifenden und bringt uns zum Nachdenken darüber, dass auch die Angreifenden Opfer waren und den Schmerz kennen, der mit dem Opfersein einhergeht.

Ausgehend von diesem Konzept der Gewaltkette, das Fragen zu diesem Thema aufwerfen soll, entfaltet sich die Ausstellung durch verschiedene Elemente im Raum und die Zusammenarbeit mit dem Rapper Noah "Rilla" Kretschmann und dem Musiker Luca Napoli.
