Information for students, employees and visitors of AdBK Munich (last updated 27 April 2020)

 

In accordance with the regulations issued by the Bavarian Ministry of Education and Cultural Affairs on 10 March 2020, all in-person classes are canceled with immediate effect until 20 April 2020. This also applies to off-site events (exhibitions, field trips, study travel, portfolio reviews) and does not depend on the number of participants.


New measures to be implemented at AdBK Munich (last updated 27 April 2020)


In light of the current situation, additional measures will be taken and implemented at AdBK.


1. Main building (older structure)
The main building will remain closed until further notice. That includes all classrooms, the university library and the cafeteria.


Can I collect my personal items left in the classrooms?

Please contact your head of class (professors, assistants) to arrange a date and time to collect your items. These persons are authorized to access the building.


2. New building
The Academy's new building is currently closed for the public.
Access will only be granted to authorized persons, i.e. teachers and administrative staff.


Will the Office of Academic Affairs be open?
Please note that the Office of Academic Affairs will not be open to the public. Until further notice, the student administration and examination offices may only be contacted via email.

As such, validation of the student card is not possible until 19 April 2020. The student card with MVV-imprint of winter semester 19/20 ist valid for the summer semester until further notice. So you do not need to come to the Academy for validation.


3. Academy library closed
In accordance with regulations issued by the Bavarian Ministry of Education and Cultural Affairs, all libraries in Bavaria are closed to the public. As such, all reading and study rooms at university libraries, including the reading hall at AdBK Munich, will remain closed until further notice.
