The library of the Academy of Fine Arts Munich is an academic reference library with a focus on literature on art after 1945 and on contemporary art.

 

Approximately 142,000 volumes, over 1700 audio-visual media and 70 current periodicals are available to current AdBK students and teaching staff at the in-house reference library. The student ID card is considered a library card and must be presented at the entrance.

 

Acquisition focus: Literature on contemporary art, exhibition catalogues.
