BAföG for studying abroad
BAföG for studying abroad is additional financial support for a semester, internship, or entire degree program in another country within or outside Europe. If you receive BAföG in Germany, you are also guaranteed to receive BAföG for studying abroad. If you do not receive BAföG in Germany, you may still be eligible for BAföG for studying abroad. The application process is not entirely straightforward, but it is worth it! The extent to which your time abroad can be funded depends on the host country and the type of stay. Erasmus funds are usually credited to BAföG. You can obtain details directly from your BAföG office.
