What can you do in the painting technique workshop? What does painting technique actually mean?
 These questions are often asked, because painting technique is a broad term that is interpreted in very different ways. Art historians use it as a classification criterion for painting in categories such as "oil on wood" or "acrylic on canvas". Art technologists and restorers get to the bottom of such descriptions and want to know more about the process of how paintings are created and age.
 And at an art academy? Why painting techniques for art students?
