Mit The Baroque Garden Show präsentiert Jakob Braito seine Diplomarbeit, die sich mit Wahrnehmung, Erinnerung und der Konstruktion von Geschichte auseinandersetzt. Ausgangspunkt ist seine Heimatstadt Wien, insbesondere der barocke Garten von Schönbrunn. Dort treffen persönliche Biografie und architektonische Strukturen aufeinander und verweben sich zu einem Gefüge, in dem kulturelles Erbe, barocke Illusionsräume und modellhafte Erzählungen über Geschichte hinterfragt werden.

With The Baroque Garden Show, Jakob Braito presents his diploma project, which explores perception, memory, and the construction of history. The starting point is his hometown of Vienna, in particular the baroque gardens of Schönbrunn. There, personal biography and architectural structures intersect and intertwine to form a network in which cultural heritage, baroque spaces of illusion, and model-like narratives of history are critically examined.
