"Leda Bourgogne is a visual artist, poet and performer. Their work is influenced by philosophical and psychoanalytical themes, revolving around questions of vulnerability, corporeality and resilience. Parallel to their visual and spatial art practice, they devote themselves to sonic and lyrical performances in which they conjure atmospheres of gloom and intimacy, touching upon social undercurrents such as dependency and queer experience. They live and work in Berlin.
In their lecture, Leda Bourgogne will present recent projects and talk about the intertwining of musical, literary and performative elements in their work and to which extent interdisciplinarity shapes its reception. The lecture will be held in English."
