"Günseli Yalcinkaya is a London-based writer, editor, researcher and artist working at the intersection of internet culture, emerging technologies and mythic imaginaries. She served as Features Editor at Dazed magazine and is one of the voices behind the column and podcast series Logged On, where she examines online discourse, youth culture, AI, VR, and psychedelic aesthetics. Her research practice explores “internet folklore” — the evolving myths, ideologies and narrative tropes embedded in digital systems and networks — asking how we might understand the digital age through lenses of magic, cryptids, simulacra and networked subjectivity.
As a speaker and curator, she has appeared in major forums including The Photographers’ Gallery (London), Unsound Festival, and other art-tech institutions. Yalcinkaya’s work spans editorial writing, critical research, and creative collaboration — engaging with how youth culture, digital aesthetics and technological infrastructures shape contemporary image-politics and cultural imaginaries."
