AA Cavia is a computer scientist and philosopher based in Berlin. His studio practice is centered on speculative computation, engaging with machine learning, algorithms, encodings, and other software artefacts. He has lectured and exhibited internationally at institutions such as Jan van Eyck Academie, ZKM, and the The New Centre for Research. His writings have been featured by Urbanomic, Routledge, and the Glass Bead Journal amongst others. He is the author of one book, Logiciel (2022), published by &&&.

**Studio visits offer students the opportunity to exchange with interdisciplinary artists via individual feedback sessions or group workshop environments. The format of discourse between participants and invited artists is left open to the encounter itself, allocating time and space for students to contribute in ways that best fit their practice.
